One of my guilty pleasures is checking out what’s on perezhilton.com. This commercial was on there today and I thought it was pretty cool.

On Jan 15th Hundreds of People dressed in ordinary work clothes suddenly appeared at London’s Liverpool Station, bursting into a choreographed dance routine to songs ‘Shout’, ‘The Only Way Is Up’, ‘Don’t You Wish Your Girlfriend Was Hot Like Me’, ‘Since You’ve Been Gone, ‘My Boy Lollipop’, ‘Do You Like Me’. Hidden cameras cought the action and the reaction from the bemused and puzzled London commuters.
The 2min 47sec footage of the action was screen on C4 on 16th January 2009 at 9.10. As part of a new advertisment campaign for TMobile, from the strapline ‘Life for Sharing’
I was reading that a flash mob of hundreds of people get together to sing or dance. Here is what wikipedia.com says about “a flash mob is a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual action for a brief time, then quickly disperse.“
Sometimes I catch myself “chair dancing” while I’m listenting to my iPod or the radio in the car. Not sure if I would ever do the flash mob thing… Well if it was a really cool song… maybe?!
