Here are some of the songs that are on my iPod.
“Drive” by The Cars — This is my top three favorite songs by The Cars. I loved Benjamin Orr. I love the songs that he sung. Another song that he sung was “Just What I Needed“.
“Bad Luck” (1975) by Harold Melvin and The Blue Notes
Not sure when I first heard this song. When I was looking up the history of this song, I didn’t know that Teddy Pendergrass was a member of the band. There are a couple of songs that I kile from this group. But I have to say this is one of my favorite ones to play over and over.
“Bad Luck” holds the record for longest-running number-one hit on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart: eleven weeks.
Song on YouTube.
“Bawitdaba” by Kid Rock – First, I want to give a shout out to a fellow Michiganer!! This is a song that I play full blast when I need to unwind on my way home. I can feel my windows in my car shake when I play this song. I don’t even turn it down when I’m at a stop light. I don’t care who hears me when I am listening to this song!
“Does He Love You” (1993) by Reba McEntire and Linda Davis – I like this video, especailly the end of it.
“Money (That’s What I Want)” by The Flying Lizards – just love how this song sounds. Video
“The best thing in life is free
But you can give it to the birds an’ bees
I need some money, Need some money. Oh yeah, what I want”
Side Note: I tried to put some of the videos of the songs in the post, but they would come up after I got the embedded link from YouTube. Does anyone know what I am going wrong? I have posted embedded video from YouTube before. It has happened to me a couple of times.
Maybe I need a new laptop!! Yeah, I think that would solve my problem!!
