Once again, the SyFy channel had another “classic” movie on this past weekend — Rage of the Yeti (TV 2011). This movie starredĀ David Chokachi, Yancy Butler, and David Hewlett.
In Rage of the Yeti, a team of treasure hunters in the Arctic are attacked by ferocious snow beasts. Before long, the adventure is no longer about finding riches — it’s about getting down the mountain alive.

I have blogged about other SyFy movie and wondered why the actors participated in such movies. So I thought I would try to find the answer to my question. That is my mission — I am going to contact David Chokachi and/or Yancy Butler and/or David Hewlett t0 see if I can get an answer to my question.
I’m really not sure that I will get an answer to my questions, but what the heck If I sat through the movie, I have as much time to try to contact these actors.
I’ll keep everyone posted on how I am doing on my mission.

Sylvia, I must first apologize for not being around to visit. I am glad to see you are still posting.
This is a very evocative post because I have often wondered the same thing. First, I no longer consider the SyFy channel a science fiction station. With all the ghosts and WWE, it just is not SciFi. Secondly, the movies suck icebergs. Please, pretty please let us all (lovers of sci-fi) know when and if you get a response from these actors. maybe it’s all about the money. Maybe they like being in movies that have the worst special effects ever. Who knows, but great post Sylvia. Happy Thanksgiving.
