Here is my 2-cents on Week 10: Finals.

Hard to believe that the Season 16 is almost over. I think this have been the best season for the number of stars who could possibly win the mirror trophy.

My Early-bird pick of Dorothy Hamill and Tristan MacManus fill through when Dorothy had to withdrawl due to an injury. But then after seeing the first couple of shows, I deceided to pick Zendaya Coleman and Valentin Chmerkovskiy as the pair to win the mirror trophy.

So this week here are my picks:

Who I want to win — Zendaya Coleman and Valentin Chmerkovskiy

For being only 16 years old, Zendaya is a really talented person. I think she has improved ever week with Val and has shown that age doesn’t mean a think in ballroom dancing.

Here are my picks for the following places:

2nd — Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough – their Freestyle dance was amazing. The moves that they did, it looked like Kellie was one of the professional dancers.

3rd — Aly Raisman and Mark Ballas

4th — Jacoby Jones and Karina Smirnoff

I’ll be watching tonight’s show to see if any of my picks were right. Plus, Pitbull is going to be on the show too! I do like watching him sing and move the way that he does!!

Here is my 2-cents on Week 9: Semi-finals of the show.

It’s coming to the end of the show with the final next week. This season has been good. There are more stars that have a chance to win the mirror trophy than in previous years (in my opinion.)

So this week here are my picks:

Who I want to win — Zendaya Coleman and Valentin Chmerkovskiy

I’m going to stick with this team to win the mirror trophy. I think Zendaya is a pretty dancer and Val has been doing a great job choreography the dances they do. I don’t care what people say about her having an advantage over the other stars because she dances in her TV show. So… the same can be said about Kellie Pickler dancing on the stage at her concerts and Aly Raisman doing her dance routines in gymnastics. Ballroom dancing is a totally different animal. Each star comes in on the ground level of knowing ballroom dancing.

I would totally root for Kellie or Aly to win if I wasn’t on my anti-Derek and anti-Mark kick right now!

The pair that needs to go home — Ingo Rademacher and Kym Johnson.

Ingo Rademacher time is up. He went a lot farther than I thought he would. But to be a part of the finals… nope!

Here is my 2-cents on week 8 of the show.

I have been trying to pay attention to this season show, but there is just something about it now that turns me off from watching it. Not sure ifs the stars, the pros or the judges?

So this week here are my picks:

Best Pair(s) — Zendaya Coleman and Valentin Chmerkovskiy

I’m going to stick with this team to win the mirror trophy. I think Zendaya is a pretty dancer and Val has been doing a great job chorography the dances they do. Plus they did their trio-dance with Gleb Savchenko! Hubba hubba!

Worst Pair(s) –  Or more like the pair that needs to go home — Ingo Rademacher and Kym Johnson.

I think it is time for them to be voted off. I loved Ingo Rademacher… about 15 years ago. But now he’s older and there is something about him that gets on my nerves! He complains a lot and it’s not very attractive and doesn’t make me want to vote for him. (Maybe I’m the problem… NOOO!)

Here is my 2-cents on week 7 — Latin Night of the show.

There is just too much good TV shows on Monday, so I was trying hard to pay attention to the show.

So this week here are my picks:

Best Pair(s) — Zendaya Coleman and Valentin Chmerkovskiy

I really like this team. I think Val is doing an outstanding job teaching Zendaya the dances they are doing. On the social media site I particpate in, Get Glue, there are people on there that say the Zendaya has an advantage over everyone else becuse she dances hip-hop and has musicality. Then there are some that says it’s a popularity contest.

My 2-cents on the whole advantage thing is, yes, she may have the musicality thing going for her, but the structured techniques of ballroom dancing are apples vs. oranges. Just because you can move to the beat does not mean that you will be able to do the perfect Paso Doble.

Worst Pair(s) –  Or more like the pair that needs to go home — Andy Dick and Sharna Burgess

As entertaining as Andy Dick is, it’s his time to go. I would prefer to see Sean Lowe and Peta Murgatroyd go before them.

Here is my 2-cents on week 6 of the show.

There is just too much good TV shows on Monday, so I was trying hard to pay attention to the show.

So this week here are my picks:

Best Pair(s) — Zendaya Coleman and Valentin Chmerkovskiy

I really think this is the team to beat. The only problem I have with this team is that Zendaya loves to throw around how young she is.OK, we get it. We got it the first 500 times you said it.

Worst Pair(s) –  Or more like the pair that needs to go home — Victor Ortiz and Lindsay Arnold.

I think it is time for them to be voted off. It’s getting to that time of the show were they really need to start weeding out the pairs that are on the bottom. Victor and Lindsay have been trying, but it’s time to go. Next team to go — Andy Dick and Sharna Burgess. He’s entertaining, but not a dancer.

Here is my 2-cents on tonight’s show.

Prom Night — I thought it was a pretty good show. I still have to figure out who I want to win now that Dorothy Hamill and Tristan MacManus are not dancing anymore. I am leaning more towards cheering for Zendaya Coleman and Valentin Chmerkovskiy to win.

I’m still boycotting Mark Ballas and Derek Hough just because I don’t like them. Sorry Aly Raisman and Kellie Pickler, I have no rhythm to my reasons!

So this week here are my picks:

Here is my 2-cents on tonight’s show.

Well my Early -Bird pick of Dorothy Hamill and Tristan MacManus didn’t do to well last night. She was injured and couldn’t really get into the dance. I hope that she will at least make it to next week to try again.

I’m still boycotting Mark Ballas and Derek Hough just because I don’t like them. Sorry Aly Raisman and Kellie Pickler, I have no rhythm to my reasons!

Zendaya did make a hinky comment about age just being a number. So, she’s 16 years old and she views the world differently than the older stars. As along as she can dance like she does, that’s all that matters. And other comments I saw about her were that it’s not fair she is on the show because she is a hip-hop dancer. So, I’m sure the moves she knows how to so are totally different than the ballroom dances she is learning. Lighten up people!!

I’m also like this version of Val Chmerkovshiy. He’s not doing Rated-R dance moves like he sis last season with Kelly Monaco.

Dancing with the Stars (Season 16)

Yesterday, I posted my Early Bird picks on who I thought would win that shiny mirror ball trophy. After watching the show last night, I think for the time being, I’m going to stick to my initial pick of Dorothy Hamill and Tristan MacManus winning the whole thing.

Besides a touching story that Dorothy Hamill had about why she is doing the show, the pair danced a pretty dance. But I do have to admit that Contemporary dance is not one of my favorites. I think Dorothy and Tristan will do better in the Ballroom dances vs. the Latin dances.

Will see how they do next week to see if I will stick with my pick.

On GetGlue, fans of the show can post comments about the show while watching the show. It’s fun going back and forth with fans and giving your 2-cents on what is going on. But one comment that I didn’t care for was made about Wynonna Judd.

This person posted that Wynonna was OK, but if and once she loses weight, she will dance better. WHAT? I saw some “thin” stars who didn’t dance well at all, but no one says that “if those thin stats were a little bit more thin they would dance better.” To think that you can only be a good/great dance if you are thin is a bunch of crap. Yes, you may be able to do better lifts and wiggles, but really…  (OK, I’m getting off my soapbox.)
