Happy St. Patrick’s Day

Being Hispanic, I have always enjoyed the holiday of St. Patrick’s Day.

I really don’t celebrate it by going to the parades or drinking green beer (any more.) But it is one that I take the time to post/send an Irish blessing to family and friends. And even like changing my name to an Irish name. This year, for St. Patrick’s Day, I shall be known as Sylvia MacGarza.

Here is my Irish Blessing for this year.

Lucky stars above you,
Sunshine on your way,
Many friends to love you,
Joy in work and play-
Laughter to outweigh each care,
In your heart a song-
And gladness waiting everywhere
All your whole life long!
– Irish Blessing

Side note:
If you are looking for some Irish songs to sing today, here are a few:

Danny Boy
Galway Bay
I’m Looking Over a Four-Leaf Clover
My Wild Irish Rose
Peg o’ My Heart
That’s an Irish Lullaby
When Irish Eyes Are Smiling
