The Streets of Heaven

“…The streets of heaven are too crowded with angels tonight.  They’re our students and our teachers and our parents and our friends.  The streets of heaven are too crowded with angels but every time we think we’ve measured our capacity to meet a challenge we look up and we’re reminded that that capacity may well be limitless.  This is a time for American heroes.  We will do what is hard.  We will achieve what is great.  This is a time for American heroes and we reach for the stars.  God bless their memory, God bless you and God bless the United States of America.”

“The West Wing: 20 Hours in America: Part I (#4.1)” (2002)

I love this quote from “The West Wing.” After what has happened this week, I wanted to port it again.

Also, today, Pat Summerall died at the age of 82. Pat Summerall and John Madden were one of my favorites to announce a football game.

I’ll you, I really don’t like that stars from my youth are now passing away. I grew up listening, watching them whenever they were on TV.

Life goes on, but their legacy will live on with their fans and the precious gems we can find on the Internet.

R.I.P. Pat Summerall, they have one hell of announcer calling the games in heaven!

“…The streets of heaven are too crowded with angels tonight…”
