Photos of Oklahoma Tornado

I just don’t understand tornadoes. I have never been in one, tornado warnings, but never an actual tornado. I just can’t fathom who a house can turn into a pile of sticks in minutes or seconds. In one of the pictures below, there are houses that are piles of wood and next to them are some houses that were barely touch… How does that happen??

Here are some of the aftermath of the tornado.

MOORE, OK – MAY 21: An aerial view of destroyed houses and buildings on May 21, 2013 in Moore, Oklahoma. The town reported a tornado of at least EF4 strength and two miles wide that touched down yesterday killing at least 24 people and leveling everything in its path. U.S. President Barack Obama promised federal aid to supplement state and local recovery efforts. (Photo by Benjamin Krain/Getty Images)

How they didn’t lose more people than they did is amazing. I hope that the people of Morris, Oklahoma feel the prayers from people, the donations for the people and survive this disaster.

Side note:

If you would like to make a $10.00 donation, as I did, text REDCROSS to 90999.
