Do you remember Zima?

Zima is a clear, lightly carbonated, alcoholic beverage, that is made and distributed by the Coors Brewing Company, ultimately MillerCoors. Introduced in 1993, it was marketed not as a beer, but as an alternative to beer, an early example of what is now often referred to as alcopop. Its domestic production ceased in October 2008, but it is still marketed in Japan. (From Wikipedia.)

I remember when that drink came out, my friend, Rita and I first tried them at a neighborhood bar in Flint, Michigan.

They first came out and they were all the new thing the drink.

I remember sitting there and trying to figure out who the heck they tasted like. We’re they a fruity drink? Did they taste like beer? Do you drink it with a lemon or kind in it?

We sat there kind of confused on what they tasted like. I don’t think we ever did figure out what they tasted like.
