Kool-Aid Pickles

One things about watching those food shows on TV is that I want to make some if the things they are eating.

Here is one of them… Kool-Aid Pickles Recipe.

Kool-Aid pickles are a popular treat in the Delta (northwestern Mississippi). Great for eating in the summer, Kool-Aid pickles are surprisingly sweet.

Kool Aid Pickles

1 quart dill pickles1 package unsweetened Kool-Aid1/2 cup sugar

Transfer brine from pickle jar into a bowl.

Stir Kool-Aid and sugar into brine to dissolve.

Return brine to jar with pickles and refrigerate at least 5 days before eating.

I’m going to buy the the thing I need to make these Kool Aid Pickles.

Will see how good they are.
