New Edition in Concert

I had the chance to see New Edition in Concert at the Tobin Center in San Antonio on July 3rd.

What a concert. It was so much fun hearing all the old songs that I grew up on.
The band looked great. Ricky BellMichael Bivins,Bobby BrownRonnie DeVoeRalph Tresvant and Johnny Gill sang and danced all night on stage. They sang tjeir hits included “Candy Girl,” “Cool It Now” and “Mr. Telephone Man“.

Then they all sang songs from when they were Bell Biv DeVoe and solo acts of Johnny Gill and Ralph Tresvant.

They sang two of my favorite songs by them,  “If It Isn’t Love” and “Can You Stand The Rain.”
It was a great concert and I love the Tobin Center. Where else can 2,300 people have a great seat to watch a great band?

Side Note: I can barely remember what I had for lunch last Thursday, but I remember all the words to “Cool It Now” from 1984!
