Walking Music

I have been on a walking kick lately. I’m trying to get at least three miles in a day. And for me, that is a far cry of how much I walked a month ago.

I have a walking playlist that I listen you while I walk. Here is one of the songs on that play list.

Finesse” is a song by American singer Bruno Mars from his third studio album, 24K Magic (2016).

I have really enjoyed the time walking. It gives me a chance to get some exercise while listen to some of my favorite music.

Viva Mexico

Today I wore the jersey I brought in Mexico. Not a huge soccer fan, but Mexico is still in the World Cup and i thought I would root for them to win.

A couple of weeks ago I decided to start walking. First it was for 20-30 minutes in the afternoon at work. Then I started walking after work at a nature park by my house.

Then I went on vacation to Mexico in mid-June and did lots of walking while I was there. I did 63,398 steps/27.96 miles during my vacation.

I might not be in the 10,000+ range (yet), but considering where I was 2-months ago, I’m heading in the right path.

Here are my numbers from my vacation. Thursday, June 21 was a rest day. 😜

Random Saves

There was a reason I got a cell phone with a lot of memory or one that I could add lots of memory.

I’ll save a picture, post or saying if I think it is interesting.

So out of the thousands I have saved to my phone, here are a few random saves.

Three Signs

I have mentioned it before, that whenever I am feeling a certain way or my mind goes wandering, I see something posted on Facebook or someplace else.

Well, I’m going through something now that has been chasing me tail. My mind knows better, but my heart, well… that has always caused me problems.

Here are the three signs that I saw yesterday. Apparently, someone is trying to tell me something.

I need to slow my roll. I will not chase after anything, I’m too old for that crap.

I’ll guess I’ll leave it up to God to see where I need to be.

Oh, but how I would love to know where I am going.

Song of the Day

“Don’t Change ” by INXS

This one of my favorite songs. I have been an INXS fan since I first heard them. I saw them in concert when they opened up for Adam Ant.

And since I know you are l I’ll ke me and like to sing along, here are the lyrics.

“Don’t Change”

I’m standing here on the ground
The sky above won’t fall down
See no evil in all direction
Resolution of happiness
Things have been dark
For too long
Don’t change for you
Don’t change a thing for me
I found a love I had lost
It was gone for too long
Hear no evil in all directions
Execution of bitterness
Message received loud and clear
Don’t change for you
Don’t change a thing for me
I’m standing here on the ground
The sky above won’t fall down
See no evil in all directions
Resolution of happiness
Things have been dark for too long
Don’t change for you
Don’t change a thing for me
