Happy Heavenly Birthday Mom

I want to wish my mom, Lydia M. Garza, a Happy Birthday in Heaven.

This is the same post that I gave been using for a couple of years on my mom’s birthday. But my feelings have not changed one bit.

I miss her every single day.

I know she is heaven with my brother, Joe enjoying this day together. I miss her so much. After five years, I think of her everyday. I actually smile and laugh when I think of her. But there are those times when I miss her so much, it brings tears to my eyes.

But I know she is in heaven with Joe and her family having a grand old time! Till we meet in heaven… I love you.

Roses in Heaven…

Happy 30th Birthday, Brad

I want to wish a Happy 30th Birthday to my nephew, Brad Keesler! I have loved him since the moment I knew of him. I am the luckiest person in the world to be his Aunt.
Brad, I hope you have a great day and the BEST is yet to come. I ❤️ you!

Happy Birthday, Joe

Today would have been my little brother, Joe’s 49th birthday.

He will be celebrating in heaven with my mom. It’s almost been three years since Joe died.

Not a day goes by that I don’t think of Joe. The good, bad and the ugly.

I can picture him in heaven, celebrating his birthday with a strawberry cake with strawberry frosting. Eating a box of cereal. Downloading all the movies and TV shows he can. Eating something our mom made just for him. Listening to “Free Bird.” And drinking a Lemon-lime slush with extra fruit from Sonic.

So, Happy Birthday, Joe. I misd you and I love you, as much as one can love a pain-in-the ass little brother.

I’ll have a Lemon-lime slush with extra fruit from Sonic.

Tell mom I love her and miss her too!

Happy Birthday to My Niece

Happy Birthday to my niece, Pamela.

She is turning into a beautiful and thoughtful young woman.

I have loved her from the first moment I knew she was there.

Wishing you the very best today and beyond.

It’s going to be fun!

❤️ Your Aunt

The 50 List

Well, I have this 50 Things I’ve Never Done List and having a tambourine was in that list. So, with the gift card from my sister, Cynthia  and brother-in-law, Dan, I got one. I have ALWAYS wanted a tambourine. Watch out the late, great Davey Jones, I want to be like you were playing the tambourine.

I cannot wait till I get it!

Great advice from Liam Neeson

I saw this post a couple of times on Facebook. But today I wanted to post it on my blog. Call it start of a new year, wishful thinking or a foolish romantic. As my friend, Scott, said… you never know what could happen. BOOM!

Great advice from Liam Neeson.

“They say the hardest thing in the world is losing someone you love. Someone you grew old with and watched grow everyday. Someone who showed you how to love. It’s the worst thing to ever happen to anyone. My wife died unexpectedly. She brought me so much joy. She was my everything. Those 16 years of being her husband taught me how to love unconditionally. We have to stop and be thankful for our spouses. Because, life is very short. Spend time with your spouses. Treat them well. Because, one day, when you look up from your phone, they won’t be there anymore. What I truly learned most of all is, live and love everyday like it’s your last. Because, one day, it will be. Take chances and go live life. Tell the ones you love, that you love them everyday. Don’t take any moment for granted. Life is worth living.”

Happy Hanukkah
