R.I.P. Sir Roger Moore

He was the James Bond that I grew up watching.

NKOTB

Well, I can check off a concert on My Bucket List… New Kids On The Block. I saw them with Boys II Men and Paula Abdul on Sunday, May 21st in Austin, Texas.

I have always wanted to see them in concert and it’s taken me this long to do so.

I brought the tickets anout six months ago and have been counting down the months and days till the concert.

First up was Boyz II Men. They were as good as they were when they came out 25 years ago. They played their greatest hits.

Then it was time for Paula Abdul. She looked great dancing on the stage with her dancers.

Then it was time for NKOTB. OMG! That’s all I got to say about them. I can’t believe that this was the first time I’ve ever seen them in concert.

They played all my favorites and the show was on of the bests I’ve ever seen.

Here are some of the pictures from the concert I had really good seats for the concert.

I am a forever NKOTB fan!

Just What I Needed To Hear

I was on my way home tonight, after a long day at work and this sang came on.

Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right” is a song written by Bob Dylan in 1962, sung by Elvis Presley.

I’ve heard this sing many times before, but for some reason, tonight the song had more meaning to me.

Leave it to Elvis to turn my bad day into a good night.

A Woman Should Have

Saw this and I had tears in my eyes while I read it. Some much of it was what I’m feeling right now and how I want to feel.

Take a minute to read it, it is definitely words to live by.

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE

Enough money within her control to move out

And rent a place of her own

even if she never wants to or needs to

Something perfect to wear if the employer

or date of her dreams wants to See Her in an hour

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE

A youth she’s content to leave behind

A past juicy enough that she’s looking forward to

retelling it in her Old Age

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE

A set of screwdrivers,

a cordless drill, and a black lace bra

One friend who always makes her laugh

And one Who lets her cry

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE

A good piece of furniture not previously owned
by anyone else in her Family

Eight matching plates,

wine glasses with stems,

And a recipe for a meal that will make

her guests feel Honored

A feeling of control over her destiny

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW

How to fall in love without losing herself

HOW TO QUIT A JOB,

BREAK UP WITH A LOVER,

AND CONFRONT A FRIEND WITHOUT

RUINING THE FRIENDSHIP

When to try harder

And WHEN TO WALK AWAY

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW

That she can’t change the length of her calves,

The width of her hips,

or the nature of her parents

That her childhood may not have been perfect

But it’s over

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW

What she would and wouldn’t do for love or more

How to live alone

Even if she doesn’t like it

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW

Whom she can trust,

Whom she can’t,

And why she shouldn’t take it personally

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW

Where to go

Be it to her best friend’s kitchen table

Or a charming inn in the woods

When her soul needs soothing

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW

What she can and can’t accomplish in a day

A month

And a year.
