I Smell Cake

MAN!! I was just checking the news feed and I saw this… 2017 is taking away the stars from my youth.

‘Happy Days’ Star Erin Moran Dies at 56.

I remember watching her on “Happy Days” and them later on “Joanie Loves Chachi”. Oh how I wanted to be Joanie on that show.

R.I.P. Erin Moran and thank you for making my youth fun.

Mission: Pink

One of my most popular post is the one about Pinky Tuscadero.

Roz Kelly (born July 29, 1943) is an American actress, perhaps best known for playing Arthur “Fonzie” Fonzarelli’s (Henry Winkler) girlfriend Carol “Pinky” Tuscadero on the hit television series Happy Days. (From Wikipedia.com)

So, now, I’m on a mission to see if I can get an autograph picture of Ron Kelly.

Will see how well the Internet works to see if I can get a picture.

Things I like

Here are just a few things that I like.

Jiffy Cornbread by Jiffy Mix. I love sweet cornbread and Jiffy Cornbread is so easy to make.

The smell of Prell shampoo. My grandmother used Prell and I remember the glass bottle that it use to come in. I remember smelling it all the time when I visited her.

Watching TV shows that I watched as a kid again on TV now. I have had fun watching the shows that I grew up on. It’s hard to believe that these shows were on 20+ years ago.

Playing Scrabble Blast on my iPhone. I swear I play on my iPhone more than use it for real phone calls.

Side notes:

Today, Indy raced car driver, Dan Wheldon died during a racing accident at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, at the age of 33. I watched when Dan Wheldon won the Indianapolis 500 earlier this year and he looked so happy. It’s a sad day in the racing world. R.I.P. Dan Wheldon.

The Detroit Lions lost their first game of the season. No worries, I have faith that they will come back and have a better season than before. Consider this, the Lions won their last four games on the 2010 season, all of their 2011 preseason games and the first five games of this season. I think that is pretty good. As they say, “Don’t Stop Believin“.
