Man!! I can’t believe that another entertainer has past away. Today when I checked my e-mail I saw that the founding member of The Eagles, Glenn Frey died at the age of 67.
One of my favorite songs be The Eagles is “New Kid In Town” (1976).
“New Kid in Town:” The first single off of 1976’s “Hotel California,” ”New Kid in Town” features Frey’s lead vocals and Don Henley’s harmonies. They co-wrote the song with frequent collaborator J.D. Souther.
And one of my favorite songs by him as a solo artist was “The Heat Is On” (1984).
I think he was my favorite member of the band because he was born in Detroit, Michigan. I remember when he guest starred on Miami Vice in the first season episode “Smuggler’s Blues” and when he was in the film, Jerry Maguire.
R.I.P. Glenn Frey. You’re music will live on forever.
The Streets of Heaven are too crowded with Angels tonight… by Joshua Hill
… The streets of Heaven are too crowded with Angels tonight.
Don’t let them be forgotten, don’t let them fade away.
God bless their memory, God bless our nation’s
The streets of Heaven are too crowded with Angels tonight.
The Streets of Heaven are too crowded with Angels tonight…
Based upon an excerpt from The West Wing episode 20 Hours in America (Part 2)

I love this song!
I heard this song on a Subaru Crosstrek Crossroads commercial and I had to find it and get it right away. It took me a while, but I found it.
I don’t know why I like it so much, but I can listen to it over and over again.
After I finally found the song (and got it on my cell phone), I had to Google more about The JuJus. What the?!! Theyr were from Michigan!
The JuJus were an American garage rock band formed in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and active between 1964 and 1967. Though the group was never able to record an album they are considered on of the more polished acts to originate from the Michigan rock scene. Amid several line-up changes, The JuJus managed to blend influences of folk rock and The British Invasion into their raw musical style, before experimenting in the psychedelic rock genre. Their most acclaimed piece was the regional hit, “You Treat Me Bad”, which is now deemed a garage rock classic. (From Wikipedia.com)
I need to check out getting more music that they did.
Thank you to The Jujus for a great song.

Lately I have been listening to Midwest Tejano Radio on Tune In radio (Internet). It is based out of Saginaw, Michigan (which is about 40 mile north of my hometown, Flint, Michigan.)
Welcome to MidWest Radio Tejano! The newest home for all of your Tejano Hits.
A cousin suggested that I listen to it because her cousin is one of the DJ in the afternoon.
Here is how that family tree branch looks like:
- My dad and her mom were cousins.
- Sonia is her daughter.
- Louie is Sonia’s cousin.
- Sonia is either my 2nd or 3rd cousin.
Here is one of the songs that I like, “Si te Portas Mal” by Jay Perez
If you get a chance, take a listen. Louie Garcia is on at 2:oo p.m (Eastern).

Check out this NASA photo of lake-effect clouds over Michigan.
How cool is that?

I was going through my e-mail and this caught my eye. New! Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes Chocolate!
Now, I really don’t like going to the grocery store. But I night have to make an exception to go and get this!
And since I’m there already, I might as well get one of my favorite cereals, Rice Krispies Treats Rice Cereal.
Proud to say that Kellogg’s are made in my home State of Michigan!

I been looking up stadiums and sporting venues on Google Earth. Here is a picture I found of U of M Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I have driven past the staduim, but I have never seen a game in the staduim.
"The Big House"
What a breath taking picture of an awesome staduim. Hopefully I will get the chance to see a game there some day.
I’ll be looking for other stadiums and sporting venues to post.
