Anne Murray is on my list of top artists that I like.
Morna Anne Murray CC ONS (born June 20, 1945), known professionally as Anne Murray, is a Canadian singer in pop, country, and adult contemporary music whose albums have sold over 54 million copies worldwide as of 2012. (From Wikipedia.)
Here are some of my favorite songs by her.
“Snowbird” (1970)
Her version of this song is the best. #2 would be Elvis Presley’s version.
“Could I Have This Dance” (1980)
If I had ever gotten married, I would have liked to dance to this song.
“Daydream Believer” (1980)
“Danny’s Song” (1972)
“You Needed Me” (1978)
“Nobody Loves Me Like You Do” (duet with Dave Loggins) Video
“Shadows in the Moonlight” (1979)
Such a 70’s song to sing to. I would have loved to see how people danced to this song when it came out.
