New Cambria Drone Video

I made a friend on the Samsung Health App. We’ve had the chance to text and get to know each other. It’s been one of the many blessings of the app.

Well, Tom, has sent me a couple of video that he has done with his drone.

They are amazing and I’m blown away on the quality of his videos.

I asked if I could post his latest video. He said I could. So take a few minutes to take a look at his fantastic videos.

Its of the flooding in New Cambria, Kansas.

Great video Tom.

I can’t wait to see the next ones.

New Friendships

For past six months I have been participating in a walking challenge. It is a challenge on the Samsung Health app.

The goal is to have over 200,000 steps a month. It’s been fun doing the challenges. But an unexpected surprise is the new friends that I have meet on there.

We all have the same goals and when we challenge each other, we encourage each other to do our best.

I have chatted with these new friends on the app and some I have even chatted on our cell phones.

It amazes me how you can meet someone online and create a friendship. i feel so blessed that our paths crossed.

So this is a shout out to Tom. Thanks for being a friend. I’m looking forward to our challenges and conversations.

The Meg

For the past couple of days I have been watching this movie over and over.

The Meg

A group of scientists exploring the Marianas Trench encounter the largest marine predator that has ever existed – the megalodon shark .

The film stars Jason Statham, Li Bingbing, Rainn Wilson, Ruby Rose, Winston Chao, and Cliff Curtis

Sometimes there is a movie that I like to play in the background while I am at work or doing something else and this is one of those movies. Each time I play it, I catch something that I miss.

It’s a pretty good movie and I’ll probably watch a couple of more times. And will probably do the same when the sequel comes out.

Thanks, Jesse for access to your movies.

Random Screenshots/Downloads

Haven’t posted in a while. Too many things spinning in my head.

So I thought I would post a few random screenshots/downloaded I have. You never know when you might have to use them.

Do You Remember… TV Dinners

Do you remember having frozen TV dinners when you were growing up?

I remember going to the grocery store with my mom while I was growing up and she would let my brother and I pick out 4 or 5 of a our favorite frozen TV dinners. We thought we were cool that we got to pick different ones and they were ours to eat.

I remember waiting forever for it to bake in the oven. And then once it was done, I would burn my fingers taking the foil off the tray. It would never fail, some of the vegetables would be in the main meal and the mashed potatoes would be in the dessert. Oh, the fond memories of those wonderful frozen meals!

Here are some of my favorites:

  • Salisbury Steak
  • Cheesy Macaroni & Beef
  • Fried Chicken
  • Turkey Dinner
  • Veal Parmagian

Rocketman

Over this past weekend I went to go see Rocketman with my friends, Amanda and Randy.

Rocketman Poster

Rocketman is a 2019 biographical musical film based on the life of musician Elton John.

It was a great movie. I have always been an Elton John fan. I even saw him when he came to San Antonio in December 2018. It had to be one of my Top 10 concerts I have ever seen.

The movie had my favorite Elton John songs in it. But one of my all time favorite Elton John songs is “Your Song” (1970).

So glad I went to see that movie and that his songs will live on forever.

Music that was in the movie.

The Bitch Is Back
I Want Love
Saturday Night’s Alright for Fighting
“Thank You for All Your Loving”

Rock and Roll Madonna
Your Song

Crocodile Rock
Tiny Dancer
Take Me to the Pilot
“Hercules”
Don’t Go Breaking My Heart
Honky Cat

Selfie

I decided that I will post random selfies here to remind me of what I looked like and where I was when I took the selfie.

This self was taken at Mission San José in San Antonio, Texas. I have been going to the church service there for the past couple of weeks. I have enjoyed going there and walking the grounds afterwards.
